The other numbers are color-coded to help the children when they represent the numbers with base 10 blocks. The Ones place is green. The Tens place is blue. The Hundreds place is red. I have my students choose a card, which they put on a tray, and then put the base 10 blocks to show that number on they tray. The cards have R2-D2 and C3PO from Star Wars on them.

This is a set of cards to label Math bins and Notebooks with a Tropical Fun Theme. It has a yellow and white background with flamingos, pineapples, watermelons, popsicles, and ice cream cones. It is done with pink, yellow, orange, green, and teal. It is a very light and fun theme for your classroom. There are 52 labels for Math materials in your classroom. There is a page of 4 blank labels that you can use to write on for additional words you may need. I use packing tape to attach these to my math bins. This is a Back to School Themed set of cards for finding the Missing Addends. There are 42 sets of cards and answers. I used addition problems with sums up to 5. Since this is the first set, I wanted to keep it easier with smaller numbers as the students learn how to find the Missing Addend. I have made sets which get progressively harder throughout the school year. I found that with repeated practice, students become really skilled at finding missing addends. (14 pages)

This game is in the same format as my other “Race to the ____” games. This one is “Race to the Flower” and it involves adding 3 numbers. It will help meet Common Core Standard (USA) 1.OA6- Addition within 20. The game board is 2 pages that you tape together and laminate. There is a Center Card with the directions. For the game, each pair of students needs 3 dice.
If you enjoy this game, you may be interested in my other “Race to the ___” games.

This is an addition game to practice 2-digit addition. The addition game is called “Race to the Penguin” and includes the game board, Center card and 47 Penguin cards with 2-digit addition problems. The cards include 2-digit problems with and without regrouping (just choose which cards to use with the game). The sums are from 31 to 40.
For Race to the Penguin, you will need to tape the game boards together. Both sides of the game board should have the same numbers. There is an A and a B side for each set. I suggest you laminate these and have the children use vis-à-vis markers (or another erasable marker).
